Melissa Wilson has worked in the Institutional Advancement Office at Salem College as the Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship, and has pursued her undergraduate degree as a Fleer student at Salem College for the past 12 years. She is the mother of a voracious and vivacious 10 year old, two German Shepherds, and a rescue Greyhound/Ridgeback mix. She will graduate in May of this year and will become a Bonus Mom to two teenage boys in June when she will finally marry her high school crush.

Melissa’s passion for podcasting started a little over a year ago in attempt to learn more about social media marketing to grow her “side gig” business. What she discovered was a world full of conversations and storytelling that compelled her to see the need for a podcast where alumnae could share their stories with the greater Salem community. This podcast is Melissa’s senior project in Communication 390.
